How we look after your details

What we collect when you subscribe. Your name, email and delivery address, so we can deliver your magazines and confirm your order. We never see or store your payment details. If you pay by Direct Debit, you set it up on the secure page of GoCardless, our Direct Debit provider — your sort code and account number go to them, not to us. If you pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal, your payment goes directly to Stripe, our payment provider — card details never touch our systems.

Our payment providers. GoCardless Ltd collects Direct Debits on our behalf and Stripe processes card and wallet payments; both are FCA-authorised and hold your payment details securely under their own privacy policies. What comes back to us is only what we need to run your subscription: confirmation you have paid, and the name, email and delivery address you gave at checkout. Your Direct Debit is protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

Where your details live. Order records are kept on servers in the United Kingdom. Your subscription is managed in our subscription system, which is how your magazines reach you. We keep order records for six years because tax law requires it, then delete them.

Marketing. We only send you offers if you are or were a subscriber and only about our own magazines, and every email has an unsubscribe link that works. We never sell or share your details for anyone else's marketing.

Your rights. You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (we keep only what tax law obliges us to). Email orders@twsgroup.com. If we ever let you down, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
